How do i keep my plants from getting to big?

There are many methods to keep your plants at a required height, below are a few of them

 topping.

when a plant reaches a certain height u cut the main growing central stem right off at the tip, the plants will then stop growing upwards and will grow new branches to replace it forcing it to grow in every direction.

pruning

you can trim leaves and branches to concentrate growth in certain area. and free up more valuable growing space

 pinching

when a plant reaches a certain height you can snap or firmly pinch the main vertical stem at the required height limit point on the plant, (above snapped area may need support via string for example to hold horizontally) This will the cause the plant to repair its self and be twice as strong in that point and the plant will continue to grow horizontally.

you can also apply a net above the plants and tie branches and ties to controll plants and force them to grow in certain directions.
